Beautiful images John - I probably have too many 'flowing water through moss covered boulder' photographs, but I just can't stop!

Wonderful story and fantastic photos, John. I haven't been in a number of years, but the Smokies are one of my favorite places to visit. Every time I've been, it's been hard for me to come back home.

A heartwarming story and hommage to life, family and friends, with magnificent imagery completing the story visually.

It brought the last lines from Norman Maclean to mind :

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

I am haunted by waters."

As usual, a phenomenal set. Love that you went into it with a focus and came out with a beautiful series of work.

Love the Lucy story—that girl has an eye for beauty…and it’s wonderful that flowing water has found its way into her heart. ❤️

I really enjoyed hearing about your trip to the Smoky's and how inspiration came from a phone call from home about Lucey's connecting one of your Smoky images to her recent visit. That was so amazing and special John. Love the images!!!!

It was special. It eased their absence.
